On November 12, 2016, we’ll be 50 days away from officially kicking off the massive celebration taking place from coast to coast to coast in 2017.
To mark this important milestone, the Government of Canada—with the valuable assistance of its many partners—will be offering Canadians vibrant activities all across the country.
LIGHT CANADA IN RED
To celebrate Day 50, iconic landmarks and buildings across the country will be lit up in red. Canadians are encouraged to come out and celebrate and take part in the Day 50 Contest.

DAY 50 CONTEST
To take part in the contest and have a chance to win 1 of 50 Canada 150 toques, take a photo or selfie at one of the many participating locations across the country—or with 50 Days poster nov-12-50-jours-50-days—and share it on Facebook or Instagram that day using the hashtags #Canada150 and #CBC2017.
